LESSON 5: WRITE A. Objectives

*Knowledge: -By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know the way to write a letter describing a trip.

* Attitude: Help Ss be more confident to communicate with others in learning English,

* Skill: Practise writing skill.

-T asks a student to read again the completed letter.

-T notices Ss about the parts and the content of the letter.

Step 2. While - writing

-T runs through the outline on p.135 by asking Ss to tell the true or imagine and answer these Qs about their trip.

-T takes notes on the board.

-Let Ss work in groups of 6, discuss.

-T asks Ss to base on Tim’s letter and the answer above to write a letter.T notices Ss about the tense of the verbs.

-T can model with the first sentence.

-Let Ss write in 8-10’.

Step 3. Post- writing

-Let Ss swap their writings, underline the mistakes.

- T collects 2 writing and correct
