LESSON  3 ( 1,2,3)   I. AIMS:

-1. Knowledge:

By the end of the lesson pupils can use the words and phrasers related to the topics future activities  

-Pronounce two-and three-syllable words withs the stress on the first syllable ,’seaside, ‘islands and,’countryside.

-Sentence patterns:

- Vocabulary:

2. Skills:  speaking, listening and reading,writing 3. Attitude:- Educate ss to love  their subject.

II. TEACHING AIDS:

1.Teacher’s: book, recording, pictures  2 .Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

Introduce the first syllable.

Open the book page 34, look at the words and notice  oluntee saying two-and three-  syllable   words  with the stress on the first  syllables.

b. Listen and repeat.

- Play the recording for pupils to repeat listen.

Once or a few times, Play the recording  again for them to repeat the sentences .

-Invite some S to read out all the words _Listen and do

Do choral and individual repetition of the words and the sentences until pupils feel confident

-Call on a group of six to repeat each line

Activity 2- Mark the word etress .Then say the words aloud. 10’

-Look at the Pic and guess the content

-Ask Ss read and mark the word stress.They say the words aloud.

-Give Ss a few seconds to read the words in silence and do the task

-Get them to swap and compare their answers in pairs before checking as a class

Activity 3.Let’s chan’t.(7’)

Where will you be this weekend ?   -Look at the Pic and guess the content -  Look and introduce the chant

- Read the chant       - Clap the hands -Listen

-   S t u d e n t s r e a d t h e c h a n t a n d c h e c k comprehension

Play recording all the way through for pupils todo choral and individual repetition ,ss chant and do actions

- Call some groups and some olunteers to perform before the class.

- Play games : Chants and clap who clap right is winner

V.Consolidation( 1’) Summary the lesson

REVIEW 1 I. AIMS.

2. Skills:  listening, writing, reading

3. Attitude:- Educate ss to love  their subject.

II. TEACHING AIDS:

1.Teacher’s: book, recording, pictures 2 .Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III. METHOD P.W.P

-Ss interview their classmates about where they will go and what they will do next weekend

Each pupil selects three classmates,select three or four pupils to report

-Mai will be in the mountains this weekend.She’ll go there by bus. .She’ll play games,sing songs and have lunch with her classmates.It’ll be a lot of fun.

- Tell Ps that they are going to work in groupsof four ask them to choose a classmate who does not belong to their group and discuss

- Inviterview a few groups to present their ideas Activity 7. Colour the star.(3’)

- Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension.

- Give them time to colour the stars and invite a few Ps to read the statements aloud.

- Give further support to Ps who find it difficult to achieve certain objectives.
