Ss point to the letters s in their books. and listen to the sound of the letters s then Ss repeat a few times.

Ss point to the letters sw in their books. and listen to the sound of the letters sw , repeat a few times.
Ss point to word swim and repeat a few times.
Ss point to the sentence I can’t swim, repeat a few times.
Whole class read the sounds, words and sentences again.
+Ss find words with sounds of s, sw.
EX: song, sit, sun, say, swan, swing, sweep, sweat, + Circle words with sounds of s and sw
s: sit, sugar, sell, say, sun, sweep,
sw: sweat, swim, swan, some, swing ,sing Ss give their answers
2. Listen and number. Then say aloud (10’) a. Pre-listening
- T uses a computer T asks Ss some questions.
How many sentences are there?
Call some Ss to read the sentences . Ask Ss to guess the order of 4 sentences.

T: you are going to listen to the recording and number the sentences.
b. While-listening
Play the recording 2 times for Ss to listen and number.
Compare the answers with the partner.
Ask Ss to give their answers and teacher plays the recording again for Ss check their answers.
c. Post listening
Ask Ss to say the sentences aloud.

Playing the recording for Ss to repeat.
Ss chant in groups: one chants the questions and the other chants the answers. (swap)
