- At the end of the lesson Ss will be able to pronunce the sounds of the letter: ir, er and ur in the words first, Thursday and her.

- T teach them some new words.

UNIT 4: WHEN’S YOUR BIRTHDAY?

LESSON 1: PART 1, 2  

I. AIMS:

1. Knowledge:

- By the end of the lesson Ss can ask and answer questions about date.

Sentence pattems: What is the date today?

Vocabulary: first, second, third, fourteenth, twenty- second, thirty- first, october.

2. Skills:

- Practice listening, speaking skill.

3. Attitude:

- T: ask Ss to answer the questions.

- Ask ss to work in  invidually.

- Ss answer in front of the class.

* Activity 3: Project (8’) - T uses a computer

- T: asks Ss to interview one of their classmate about what he/ she does at weekend.

- T writes some sample on the board and let’s Ss copy down.

- T: Asks Ss to do in group.

- Ss: Work in group.

- T: asks some Ss to interview in front of the class.
