             I. AIMS:

By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to: ask  and answer questions about means of transport ,last holidays ,using  informations to write .

-Pronounce three-syllable wrords with the stress on the first syllable ‘motorbike, ‘underground,

‘holiday, ‘family  -Sentence patterns:

- Play the recording and ask pupils to repeat once or a few times,paying attention to the stressed syllables

Play the recording gain. Have Ss repeat each line, pointing to each line of the chant. Repeat this step a few times.

Ss to repeat after you.the words and sentences Do choral and individual repetition of the words and the sentences until pupils feel confident

-Call on a group of six to repeat each line -Individual.

Activity 2- Listen and circle. (10’) a. Pre-listening.

   How many sentences?

Explanes the title.

- There are 4 sentences in this lesson. We are listenning and write  the sentences ( 1,2,3,4) you hear.

Ss Guess.

Get Ss to predict some of the things they think they will hear.

Play the recoding (twice). Have Ss listen and circle  the correct sentenes.

play the recording again for pupils to check their answers.

Look at the Pic and guess the content Read the chant.

b. While- listening.

Ss get the information in order to complete the sentences.

Ss compare with the partner Ss give their answers.

T corrects the mistakes.

c. Post-listenning.

Complete these sentences and repeat

 -Look at the Pic and guess the content -  Look and introduce the chant

- Let’s students read the chant -Ss clap the hands forward rythym.

- Play recording then Ss repeat.

- Call some groups and some volunters to perform before the class.

- Play games : Chants and clap who clap right is winner

Activity 6. Project (5’)

- Tell Ps that they are going to work in groups and interview two classmates about their holidays.

- Inviterview a few groups

Get one or two pupils to report the results to the class.

- If there is not enough time, give the activity as homework and talk about the drawings in the next lesson as a warm up activity.

Ss present  name cards to the class.

 Call on some students to report to the class.

Activity 7. Colour the star.(5’)

- Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension.

- Give them time to colour the stars and invite a few Ps to read the statements aloud.

- Give further support to Ps who find it difficult to achieve certain objectives.

What  did you go on Teachers’ Day?

- Ask Ss look at the pic and song in the books then read aloud.

Ss listen and copy in note book.

- T: play casset and repeat.

- Ss listen repeat and sing.

Some students perform before the class.

T: Call on some Ss to sing the song in front of the class. The rest of the class sing along with them and clap their hands at rhythms.
