GRAMMAR PRACTICE I. Objectives :

1. Knowledge

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to further practice in likes and dislikes (Simple present tense), countability (a, an, some, any).

- Sts revise food and drink vocab.

2. Skills

- Speaking skill.

- Practise asking and answering using present simple tense, countability 3. Attitude

- Love learning the subject.

C. Methods: Kim’s game, Find someone who…, Write it up, Picture drill, Guessing game.

D. Contents:

I. Organization(1’ ) - Greeting

- Checking attendance

* Kim’s game: (Use the picture on page 119)

- Give Sts 10 seconds to look at the picture and try to remember things in the picture.

- Divide Sts into 2 teams, ask them to write name of things in the picture on the board.

- T then gives feedback and points.

Activity 1: Find some one who - T asks ss to copy down the table - T does the model

Activity 2 : Write it up

-SS asks ss to use the table they have reported to write about their classmates Eg:

- T puts three pronouns on the board - T divides the class into three teams.

Ask them to find out the food/drink they learned including these pronouns -Ask ss to write them

- T gives feedback

Activity 2: Guessing game

Use the following network to play a guessing game

- Ask ss to copy down the sentence I’d like a can of cocacola

- Ask ss to complete the sentence as the example by getting the words from net work. Then keep it secrete

- T does first

S1: Would you like some milk?

T: No, I wouldn’t

S2: Would you like a can of cocacola?

T : Yes, I would. Hai. Come here and does the same as me.

- Ask Sts to work in pair to ask and answer about things they’ve filled in the table.
