Lesson 4: Section B – Telephone numbers (1-3, 9)

I. Objectives : By the end of this period,ss will be able to talk about dates of the year and the pronunciation, talk and write about the ordinal numbers, the days,

1. Language contents:

* Vocabulary: twelfth, twentieth, twenty- first, thirtieth * Grammar: - Present simple tense.

- Future tense 2. Skills: Listening, speaking, reading

3. Attitude: It helps ss to have motivation, happiness to communicate with each other in English. Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder

II.Teaching aids: Color chalk, and sub-board, real thing.

1. Teacher: Englishbook, lesson plan 2. Students: Book, workbook

III. Techniques: Listen and writing, order, jumbled words.

IV. Procedures:

T: Read aloud 2 times again and have ss to write the dates first , then write on the board.

Ss: Listen and try to write.

T: Look and read again , then correct mistakes.

T: First teach ss about 12 months in a year , then ask ss to look at the mixing words and order them(use sub-board )

T: Correct and order them again and have ss read aloud .
