LESSON 3: A5- 7 A. Objectives:

1. Knowledge:

- By the end of the lesson students will be able to understand and practise “Yes/ No questions and short answers “ to talk about daily routines in the present simple tense.

- Learn some vocabulary.

2. Skills:

- Practice reading, speaking skill, asking and answering skill.

- Sts can make “Yes/ No questions” and give short answers about things Lan , Thu does after school and about themselves.

Does she play soccer? - Yes, she does./ No, she doesn't.

Do you play soccer? - Yes, I do./ No, I don't.

3. Attitude:

- Students have awareness of practice reading, speaking, doing exercises; Enjoying their daily routine .

*Presentation dialogue:

- T sets the scene:

+ Shows the picture on P.54 and says. This is Ba and this is Lan.

They are talking to each other. Ba wants to know what Lan and their friends do after school. Now, listen to me then tell me what they do after school

- Ask Ss to listen to the dialogue(twice)

- Ss play the role of Ba and Lan to read gain

- Elicit form the students to give the model sentences

- Ss read the model sentences in chorus, then in pairs

- Concept check:

+ Meaning: Ask Ss to translate in to Vietnamese
