UNIT 8: COUNTRY LIFE AND CITY LIFE

I. Aims:

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand the dialogue and do the reading texts well Ss can develop their reading and speaking

- Students will be able to talk about the changes of town/ city well - Ss can develop speaking, listening, and writing

- Students will be able to understand the contend of the listening and do the listening tasks well

- Ss can develop speaking, listening, and writing

-Ss can develop their reading and speaking, students will be able to understand the text and do reading comprehension tasks well

- Ss can develop reading and speaking skills. Student will be able to write a friendly letter about their neighborhood well

- Ss can develop writing skills II. Teaching aids:

- Pictures, textbook, workbook, computer, projector, postcards - Word cues

- Poster

III. Methods:

- Ss work individual to listen the text then answer the questions.

- Teacher – whole class to practice reading the text.

- Rub out and remember to check the vocabulary, structures

- Listen the pictures and guess the meaning of action in the pictures.

A. Aims of the lesson:

1. Knowledge:

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about how to send parcels or letters.

- Introduce the situation (the dialogue between Aunt Hang and Lan) and ask sts some questions

- Who are they?

-get sts to read through the dialogue and guess the missing words

2. While – listening: (15’)

- Let Ss listen to the dialogue and fill in the gaps

- Let Ss listen to the tape again for checking their answers

- Give necessary correction by letting Ss listen to the tape again and pausing at what is necessary
